Most of us would prefer not to think about dying. The uncertainty of it, the uncomfortability, it's almost too much.
In fact, we end up spending a lot of our time trying to deny the fact that someday we will die. We glorify youth, we obsess about antiaging, and we saturate our culture with sex (something that is life-creating).
But denying what's true doesn't change what's true!
Today's guest creates space for us to have those conversations about death - and she does it with grace and humility!
Maria Capolupo is an End of Live Caregiver and Grief Support Specialist. When she is not working with clients, she works to lift the taboos surrounding death, dying, and grief through frank discussion, humour, and compassion.
